Launches Sail from Keswick, calling at six landing stages around the lake on request.  A round trip takes 50 mins if you are setting off from Keswick or an hour if you set off from Nichol End and want to get back to Nichol End.

A ferry runs every hour in each direction in summer, with extra boats at times of high demand.  In winter there are only 4 boats a day at the weekend only.

If you are embarking the launch for the first time in a day at Nichol End you must buy your tickets at Nichol End - you are not permitted to buy tickets on the boat at this stop. Tourist tickets bought in hotels are not valid at this stop.  If you have already started your journey on a round the lake ticket then you may re-embark here.

Please ensure that you are at the very far end of the south Jetty a few minutes before the boat is due - if you are not clearly visible the launch will not stop.  Please ask staff in the shop of cafe if you need more information.
